Researching an Artefact: Europeans · Learning Opportunities Your students will work in pairs to design an artefact that a convict or marine would have used in their day-to-day life and write a journal entry from the perspective of this person.
Researching an Artefact: First Peoples of Australia · Learning Opportunities Your students will work in pairs to draw an artefact and draft an oral history from the perspective of a member of the First Peoples of Australia.
Differences Between Cultures · Learning Opportunities Your students will consider differences between cultures.
Historical Artefacts · Learning Opportunities Your students will compare artefacts from the cultures of First Peoples of Australia and the European settler community, and draw and label an imaginary artefact from the future.

Someone Else's Shoes Social Justice Preview Unit
