    Question-based Investigations (QBIs) centre learning around one big question, guiding students through seven phases - Immersion, Launch, Research, Synthesis, Collaboration, Exhibition, and Evaluation.

    Subject-based sequences are comprised of five to seven activities designed to address a specific learning area at a single year level. Learning opportunities are sandwiched between pretesting, familiarisation and demonstration activities.
